Therapy for Adults

Many of the adults I work with come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally exhausted.
You might be juggling a demanding job, caring for others, or simply trying to hold everything together, all while feeling disconnected or burnt out.

In our sessions, we take the time to gently explore what’s going on beneath the surface, understand patterns that may be contributing to stress or anxiety, and find meaningful ways to feel more grounded, balanced, and connected to yourself again.

My approach is grounded in compassion and curiosity, helping you build awareness, develop emotional tools, and create space for the version of yourself you want to return to, or become.

I work in a person-centred way, which means I’ll always meet you with warmth, acceptance, and respect for your unique experience. Alongside this, I integrate a range of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Attachment Theory, and Transactional Analysis to support deeper insight and healing.
Over the years, I’ve built a reputation as a kind, approachable therapist who genuinely cares about the well-being of each person I work with. My approach is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and respect — creating a space where you can speak freely, without fear of judgment. Whether you're facing long-standing challenges or a recent period of stress, I’m here to help you make sense of what you're feeling, reconnect with yourself, and find practical ways to feel more emotionally supported and resilient in everyday life.
I work with adult clients online, offering a flexible and accessible way to access therapy from the comfort of your own space. Online sessions can make it easier to fit support into busy lives — whether you're balancing work, parenting, or other day-to-day responsibilities.
'Working with Charlotte every week has been such a supportive and calming space for me to express how I am, figure out my needs and build on myself each week. Charlotte is such a gentle and receptive listener, she takes on exactly what I am feeling and offers alternative points of view of ways to see my problems. She has such a lovely, calming presence, which instantly allows me to relax and be honest. Charlotte is able to create a non-judgemental space and makes you feel heard, seen and held'.

My sessions with Charlotte were really useful. I’ve had a few different counsellors but Charlotte is at the top of her game. She is kind, professional and understanding. She adapts her practice completely to you and is an excellent listener. She really helped me work through my troubles and her calm and personable manner really helped me. She communicates really well and is always there outside of sessions too. I really benefitted from my sessions with Charlotte and would highly recommend her. Thank you!
